Do you take group bookings?


Yes, we love a crowd. For groups of 8 or more on Friday and Saturday nights, we offer the Mezepotamia Feast Menu - our signature shared menu that keeps the food flowing and everyone happy.

Why the Mezepotamia Feast for groups?


It takes the guesswork out of ordering and makes service seamless. Everyone gets to try a bit of everything, and dietary needs are easily catered to. You just sit back, eat, drink, and enjoy.

Is there a service charge for group bookings?

For bookings of 7 to 13 guests, a discretionary 7% service charge may apply, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

What about larger groups?

For groups of 14 or more, bookings are subject to the terms, conditions, and cancellation policy outlined in our functions package.

Can I book for a function or private event?

Can I book Mezepotamia for a birthday or celebration?

Can I bring my own cake?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own cake when selecting one of our set menus (excluding Monday nights).

If you choose to order à la carte, a $4 per person cake fee will apply. The fee applies on Skewer night.

Do you require a deposit for event bookings?


For large events, we may ask for a deposit to secure your date, which is credited towards your final bill.

Where is Mezepotamia located?


You’ll find us at 99 Redfern Street, right in the heart of Redfern. We’re a short walk from both Redfern Station and Central Station, making it an easy stop-in whether you're local or coming from across town.

Is there parking near Mezepotamia?


Street parking is available around Redfern Street and the surrounding area, but it can be limited during peak times. We recommend catching a train if you're able—Redfern Station is just a few minutes' walk away. That way, you can enjoy that second glass of wine without a worry.

Are you kid-friendly?


While we welcome guests of all kinds, Mezepotamia is designed with grown-up dining in mind — from the mood to the menu. We don’t offer a kids’ menu or high chairs, but if your little one is comfortable in a more refined setting, you’re always welcome to bring them along.
